Listen chickens...

...Your Mama has done found our tired ol' self out in the middle of the desert where it's beautiful but 95 in the shade and there isn't an internet connection for 18 miles. eight damn teen miles.

We'll be back at the rodeo as soon as we can sort out our technical (and/or geographic) issues.

Stay tuned...

  1. Mama, take that MacBook & prop your tired dogs upon it; us chilruns will keep ourselves entertained in the meanwhile.

Security word: zologi: technical term for camel-spit.

  3. Mama,
101 S. Lucerne Blvd closed on 8/17. I think you mentioned the casa before, but I can't recall when/who/what.

  4. OK Fellas, don't F@&K with Mama---this ain't her first time at the rodeo....

Confidential to Mama: Gurl, please get rid of that baby elephant ad. It gives me the creeps.

  5. Stay in the shade, Mama, and guzzle G&Ts to keep you hydrated! The four-footed posse and I send cool breezes and a cute pool boy.

  6. I co-sign with Candi regarding that baby elephant/animal abuse ads...they add a creepiness factor to an otherwise sophisticated blog

  8. Ninety-five degrees and dry in the desert? Come to Trenton, Mama, where it's only 90 degrees, but with 90% humidity and the first rain in weeks. You can buy a fine pre-Revolutionary, Victorian,
    1920s, or mid-century mansion for a song.

And I'm with Candi and Oduroyal: Non-consensual elephant bondage and discipline is wrong and bad. Instead, please bring back Pamela Anderson's breasts, which are right and good.

    Love,
    Studly

  9. Listen, kids, I too am a little creeped out by the photo that accompanies the ad –––– but what's most important is the message behind it.

I applaud our Mama for supporting the better treatment of our two-, three- or four-legged friends, elephant or otherwise.

You don't get the privilege of calling 'em long-bodied bitches for nothing...

    Much love!
