UPDATE: Tate Donovan

Remember a last week when Your Mama discussed the very modest Hollywood Hills home of actor Tate Donovan–listed at $789,000–and we posited and predicted that the cute cottage would be in escrow, "in just a few weeks, if not a mater of days?"

Well my little butter beans, it's in escrow. Told you so.

  2. I am actually the person that is buying this house. It's really nice and I look forward to many happy years there. Oh, and the only reason I found it is because it was featured on this site. Thanks Mama! Perhaps the first home sold with Mama's help!

I'm sure every one of the children have a suggestion on what color to re-paint the window trim.

  7. Umm, this confuses me. I have a contract signed to buy this house. I didn't realize I was in a bidding war. My agent never said anything about another buyer. This is quite possibly the strangest thing to ever happen to me during a home purchase. Not only am I most likely in a bidding war but the person whom I'm bidding against reads the same blogs as me and comments on them. I also have documentation to prove my purchase but, alas, I do not have a fax machine. I can email them though!!

  10. can't wait to see how this turns out. it's like that old game show.."will the real home buyer please stand up!"

anyway...the house is adorable. great little pad. I saw it last Sunday and congrats to the real buyer. Please tell me your painting the trim. A mossy green would look lovely.

  11. Hey Realtor, go move out of the state please. This person just bought a falling knife. You know it, I know it. Stop grinning through your caps.

  12. Whomever is the real buyer is, they got a good deal in a great little neighborhood. They will do fine financially in the long run.
