UPDATE: Josh Flagg

Looks like the scruffy faced and much maligned Bev Hills real estate agent and Million Dollar Listing star Josh Flagg is off the hook. That's right children, off the legal hook.

Gossip juggernaut TMZ, the very same website that broke the story of Mister Flagg's arrest for allegedly stealing pricey paintings out of the lavish homes he listed for sale, is now reporting that the Los Angeles District Attorney has dropped the charges like a hot potato due due to lack of evidence.

So there you have it children. Young Mister Flagg may not be the most likable character on the boob toob, but according to the powers that be that does not make him an art thief. On that note, Your Mama wishes Mister Flagg best of luck putting this publicity nightmare in the rear view mirror of his luxury sedan.

  1. gosh I was actually looking forward to Season 2, in the Big House.

  2. Was he able to prove he purchased the paintings in his photo? Even if the DA has dropped the charges, everyone knows that where there is smoke there is fire.

Based upon the episode last week, I think his shady reputation is well known in Los Angeles. The producers probably chose him for the show knowing he would bring drama.

P.S. Someone has to tell Chad that his hair style is HORRIBLE and he looks like a q-tip. I have never seen a straight man use a whole can of hairspray in one application!

  3. Grandma wasn't gonna let her grandson go to jail. She brokered the "sale" after the fact for more than market; POOF...It was all mizunderstandingg, my grandson good boy....

    ReplyDelete
  4. Now if only someone could find a reason to put that douchebag Chad Rogers in jail...

    ReplyDelete
  5. He might have been let off but what does something like that do to your reputation & future business?

Also, Chads hair has to be the worst hairstyle EVER! Seriously, does the boy not own any mirrors? It's beyond dreadful ... & I still don't believe he's 30 ... he seriously looks 14 years old.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I think Chad looks 30+....trying to look 14.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I know someone who went to high school with him. He was a freak then and still is. Goes to show money does not buy you good taste, good sense, or manners.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Strangely enough, Josh looks mysteriously like moi... okay, plus 20 years or so. But still. Anways, I agree with anon 8:40am. Grrrand Mumaw most likely wired the money into so-n-so's account to "purchase" the artwork. Talk about blood money...

As for Chad, I swear to G*d I thought he was the long lost child of Sonny & Cher until they presented his parents. Now, as I've said before, the fine girls over at Silhouette Hair in NoHo can hook you up some mighty fine weaves. There's simply no reason to go around town looking like hell. In his defense, I will say that he is an ambitious young dude and seems to have his heart in the right place.
    Peace to all.

  9. Has anyone confirmed that Josh's grandmother HAS money?

Does anyone know the name of the broker he works for? Even if you are listing a $100K condo in Orlando you hope/assume that you are protected from theft!

I bet he is having a hard time securing new listings!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Josh was with Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills North. Is he still there? I think Josh and Chad were romantically linked B4 and used to spray eachother with Aqua Net.

    ReplyDelete
  11. chad rogers can't be straight. that's my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  12. ^agreed. that hairstyle.. i just want to SHAVE IT OFF!

  13. Happy to hear that he's off the hook!

  14. Publicity nightmare? I don't think so. This little, if erroneous, fiasco will instantly make him either the guy you love because he was wrongly accused or the guy you love to hate because he is a sleeze and got away with something. The whole thing is perfect for Mr. Flagg and the show. I think there was originally conjecture right here that this whole thing was a PR scam. Now if only Mama would post the video of the police dragging Josh out of his fancy car and pistol whipping him on the streets of Beverly Hills........we could have a new folk hero.

  15. Wonder who will wind-up getting served with the lawsuit....after the dust settles.

The show must have had a huge casting call to come up with the 3 Real Estate " Experts".....who are the stars.

  16. to those speaking about Chads hair---
    a

    --
he looks like Velma from Scooby Doo.

Im not surprised...seems stealing such high priced things would be stupid to the nth power. Its not as if someone doesnt notice a Picasso if it goes missing.

    ReplyDelete
  17. On the show, Flagg claims his bubby invented velcro or lycra spandex or something stupid like that (LOL), but the best part was when she told him she was completely disinheriting him and leaving her alleged money to charity and he looked like he was gonna cry...how a nice little old Jewish woman could in any way be proud of that little monster of a grandchild is beyond me...but he's still not as bad as Chad Rogers (LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Everyone is focusing on Chad's nifty hairdo but I have a hard time getting past the mouth full of porcelain veneers. If the little beard he is "dating" ever synapsed, she would electrocute herself........but yes, I will keep watching...it is a sick vice.

    ReplyDelete
  19. thevinylvillage: I am still laughing. You are absolutely right, he does look like Velma. Maybe the reason the charges were dropped was because those meddling kids in the Mystery Machine showed up and helped discover the REAL thief.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Tonights episode was an absolute freak show. These people are unbelievable. The woman renting the beach house looked like she was made out of bakelite.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I have never seen such dip-shits like Chad and Josh since wathching the "SNL" Sprokets episode. What is wrong with people?

    ReplyDelete
  22. "Vot?!? My dahlink gvandsoon un kriminil? Nyet; nyet."

thevinylvillage, funny, Chad reminds me of the Pan Am stewardesses in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

    ReplyDelete
  23. i am hopelessly devoted to chad, but damn if josh's goodbye kiss with his grandma wasn't my favorite moment so far. the whole scenario is comedy gold.

    ReplyDelete
  24. p.s. his smarmy demeanor during his "tip off/make an offer" call to dr. sam probably didn't help matters much in the credibility department. also, WHY WAS RON RICHARDS JUST SO DAMN ADAMANT ABOUT KEEPING HIS "out of his units"??? hmmmmmmmm?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I also love that the only $5-million listing of Josh Flagg's I can find over $5-million on the MLS is also "co-listed" by 2 agents over at Nourmand...i.e. real realtors...this kid is just a typical LA playboy punk who occasionally gets handed a "listing" by some of his (allegedly) wealthy friends and relatives to keep him from crying, while real realtors actually sell his listings...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Babe,

My guess would be l'affair Ron Richards was probably in reaction to the charges that recently got waived...probably was afraid Flagg might steal something from one of his units.

That being said, Richards seems like a prick who can't price real estate to save his own ass, and this probably is why he chose Chad Rogers, because he knows the kid is such a douchebag sycophant that he could bully him when a real professional realtor would've challeneged him and not told him only what he wanted to hear...whenever a realtor only tells you what you want to hear, it is time to pick a new realtor!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ron Richards is definitely a pit bull. great observations BigDaddyj!
    thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  28. 9:22, word. They all have the vibe of dumb rich kids who are dabbling in this with family connections so they have something to do all day, without actually working. And I think Chad's dad has his buddies toss some "listings" just to keep him occupied and away from the house...something tells me they wanted him committed at some point in his youth--a genuine oddball who seems disconnected from other human beings and can only relate in that creepy, stilted way of his.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Agreed with ^^^. Josh has his listings handed to him by rich granny's friends.

Madison's website says that he purchased a home in Malibu but on episode 3 he says his parents purchased the house for him. Mom and Dad forking over $1.5m at the time for the kids.

It does appear that all these kids have HUGE connections from parents.

I've been watching the shows 100% dumbfounded as to how in the heck a 21 child can list $24,000,000 homes.

It just does not add up.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Does anyone know where Josh lives? I thought someone on this site said he lived in a condo, but on the show he is always coming and going from that Tudor style house.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It's simple. The sellers were all at Josh's Bar Mitzvah.

Scotty Brown needs to stop posting on these boards! He is the original slimeball! His fake ass "Hello, my friend" used car salesman tactics are legendary.

  33. Did anyone see last night's episode where Josh Flagg broke into the house on Martin? It was blatant trespassing & it's on tape. It's apparent that this kid has no boundaries. BTW, you steal expensive art by replacing the original with fakes. (It was on an episode of CSI.)

  34. Just like everybody has a Lawyer in the family, apparently everbody in California has a R.E. Agent in the family.

  35. Hope the big spending agents and clients on the show pay their taxes. You can bet the show is watched in the IRS offices.....

yeah but why was the electricity and the water turned on? and how did the camera crew get in with their equipment and... how did Bravo get clearance to show the property on tv?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Wasn't it two episodes ago that Jay Bernstein died? He died on April 30th 2006! This show happened over two years ago!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Well frank, there goes my Ron Richards theory (see above), LOL...I guess Flagg must've had a reputation as an untrustable scumbag even before the art theft allegations...sucks to be him!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Chad's hair drives me crazy. With as much money as these guys have he could at least get a decent haircut. In real estate out here they say appearances are everything. You think if he can drive a nice mercedes he could do something with his hair.

Does anyone else feel like this show has gone down the toilet? I don't like these new guys this season at all. I wish Bravo would film some successful agents in the area who portray what real estate is really like in Malibu and Beverly Hills. I'd love to watch Jade Mills and other successful agents who are the true queens of real estate...then again Bravo is probably trying to appeal to the 20 something crowd...

    ReplyDelete
  41. I am sure that the demographic is a big consideration for the Bravo folks. I doubt that a chronicle of the hard work, frustration and busy work associated with the real business of buying and selling homes would have much appeal, even in beautiful California.......just look what it takes to make the people who cut hair seem interesting. Now that one I can't even watch. As someone who lives far away, I do worry the show presents every possible validation of the stereotypical superficiality of Los Angeles.....but I will be watching!

    ReplyDelete
  42. You have to be crazy to go on this show, and tell everybody watching it that you are willing to spend $75,000 per month to lease a house or $5-10 million to buy something.
Most people don't want to put that out on the streets. Especially when they show exactly where the home is located.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Josh Flagg just seems shady.

Chad has gorgeous eyes, he should get a cut that shows them off.

    ReplyDelete
  44. DA's drop charges all the time because they are still working the case and the perp has a statutory right to a speedy trial once charges are brought. They can refile whenever they was within the statutory period. Unless they found out they were being duped or the victim got paid off and told the DA they wouldn't testify, there's little chance the DA would have initiated this case without pretty solid eveidence. The show is NOT over!

  47. I'm a realtor in LA and have met the whole cast of characters on this show, and the reason these guys are on it is because any self respecting business man would not appear on a reality show like Million Dollar Listing.

To Chad, Madison and Josh: Appearing on this show will have a negative long term affect on your careers.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Someone mentioned that the guy in episode 1 died 2 years ago. This was going to be my comment. My dh and I looked at Madison's "new listing" 2 years ago. How can it take so long to get this up and running? Especially with the real estate market seriously in the tanker, would love to see how these agents are doing now that it's not raining money. Despite what they say, even malibu is feeling the pinch. When we almost bought there 1 1/2 years ago, we weren't willing to keep upping our offer feeling the winds were maybe a changiing, but our agent at the time said "no matter when you buy in Malibu, it'll always be worth more the next year". (We stopped using that agent). There are many houses still on the market that we looked at back then (even one we put an offer on and they guy still hasn't lowered his price). Anyway, I think Bravo ought to be filming now...should be interesting...people aren't getting mortgages so easy, lots of deals fall through before close of escrow. It's ugly out there!

    ReplyDelete
  49. the tudor house they show Josh living in is on Readcrest Dr. in Beverly Hills it is just off of Schyler Dr. I doubt he really lives there though.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Joshs grandmother Edith lives in the penthouse of my building in Century City, CA . Century Towers 2222 Avenue of the Stars East Tower. Josh also lives at Century Towers in a condo on the West Tower 17th floor. I was here when the police came to arrest him and put him in the back of the police car.

  51. I was at Whole Foods Market on Santa Monica and Fairfax and CHAD was right in front of me, pushing an elderly man aside in line just so he could get to a woman who rivaled Suzan Hughes in plastic surgery. He no longer has that bowl haircut, you can actually see his eyebrows now. All I can say is that if that guy is straight, then he's shooting for becoming a male-to-female lesbian transsexual. His body looks certfiably female already, minus the breasts - he's got very wide hips and skinny, skinny legs. He was smarmy to the cashier and dismissive to the elderly man who just looked confused. And, of course he was fawning over the artfully tanorexic lizard with the Louis V. bag and the Asian adopted cute teenage daughter as an additional accessory.
Be afraid. Be very afraid. Next time it'll be YOU that gets pushed outta line at Whole Foods...

  52. I still don't like this guy. Every time he's on the screen I gag.

  53. I like chad . he seems very nice.

  59. There isn't much pleasure in being a real estate agent right now, even for those of us in a 'decent' market. This show is just fun to watch, gives us something to envy and wish for and obviously they are unusual guys that only some people would trust to work with. Somewhat glad to read that the market is soft there too now. Didn't see how it could still be that good in those prices.

  60. I think it says it all that ole chaddy boy moved in with his girlfriend, little bitch chad doesn't have two nickles to rub together.

    ReplyDelete
  61. And poor confused Madison is a bit of a two face, he looked like shizz in the last scene with lauren.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I So freakin love this show, I think Chad needs to do somthing with that chili bowl hair do its out and leave Josh his nemesis is such a hottie compared to Chad and Maddison, Josh you still rock even though you have had it rough Dude dont give up you come from Money, Money makes money!!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Chad's hairstyle is fierce!
He is the most lovable metro-sexual.
Chad baby make mo money,mo money.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I don't understand all of the Josh haters out there. He is a very smart business man and a negotiator second to none. Not to mention he is gorgeous and has the cutiest smile and eyes ever. Everybody dogs Josh and Chad while Madison walks around like an icon looking like a plastic Ken doll. Some weeks I wonder if he is selling real estate or Mary Kay Cosmetics

    ReplyDelete
  65. Just got back from NYC. Was sitting in hotel lobby and Josh Flagg walked past me talking on the phone. Went to front desk where his "guy" friend was waiting. They checked in and then headed out to take in the town. At the elevator they were giggling like little girls. I assumed from the opening on his show that he was straight since he has pics of himself with women. He is definitely NOT straight.

    ReplyDelete
  66. wow this site is amazing

  67. Josh is great. Like his grand mother too. Chad needs a hair cut.
    Madison is good realtor.

  69. Chad Rogers is gay, right?? Was so gay that he tried to pass himself off as straight with that young girl. Poor thing.
