A nurse confessed to starting a small fire in a trash can to be a hero when he put it out, but it got out of control.

I read the widow stalled the firemen in their attempt to rescue her husband by failing to provide the key necessary to reach the apartment.

I live on the 4th floor of a high rise. I gave up airplane views for tree tops, and the visage of Victorians with their gas street lamps. I directly over look a Catholic church, and the bells remind me of Paris. My bedroom view is directly into trees with no man made objects in sight. Mamma's 12 May 2009 post on 820 Fifth Avenue learned us children that:
"FOURTH FLOOR: The fourth floor is one of only a couple of units at 820 that have changed hands multiple times in the last 10 or 20 years. For many years, the 18-room sprawler was owned by poet, philanthropist, rumored lezbeeuhn, and paper heiress Louise Crane whose family concern, Crane & Co., manufactures high-grade stationary and has provided the paper on which U.S. currency has been printed for nearly 150 years. Miz Crane was about as old as money gets in this young country."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7179311615101890268.post-60503187779551411992009-12-29T09:36:33.123-08:002009-12-29T09:36:33.123-08:00tis the season to be greedy.tis the season to be greedy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7179311615101890268.post-58593466174208973592009-12-29T08:10:32.079-08:002009-12-29T08:10:32.079-08:00That is an insane amount of money to spend on a pl...That is an insane amount of money to spend on a place to live. In this day of vulgar Trump L'Oys and monied Madonna types, this woman has an attractive and refreshing evil mystique about her.
