Trust me that while the South is generally less expensive than major metropolitan areas, we actually have some lovely and quite cher neighborhoods here. Clay's particular "condo" is in a complete POS student-apartment complex that would burn to the ground if you flashed your lighter at it. It's the kind of place that developers build near state universities all over the country, and people buy units because they think it will be cheaper than the dorm and because they think they will make a bit of cash when the kid graduates. Would never let my kid get with 500 feet of that place.Sweetie Darlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01416965246408509899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7179311615101890268.post-35801171305358013912007-10-10T18:55:00.000-07:002007-10-10T18:55:00.000-07:00Using the word tawdry is just so genius in any con...Using the word tawdry is just so genius in any context, but here it sums up the whole story don't you think?so_chic_darlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00295857652423777633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7179311615101890268.post-89528304127060466762007-10-10T12:00:00.000-07:002007-10-10T12:00:00.000-07:00He sold the California house and built one in Nort...He sold the California house and built one in North Carolina. Here's a link to a youtube the local news viewing it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyC3Q_GdKHo

also why is it that if you know anything about Clay Aiken, you have to be a crazy Claymate?? Very cool historic town packed with antebellum and Victorian architecture.

Rundown houses in the poorest neighborhoods start at $10,000. Not a typo. Bungalows and ranch-style houses that middle-class families would want to live in start around $65,000. Again, not a typo. $500,000 buys you a historic mansion downtown. (If you're curious, go to realtor.com and run a search on zip code 39120.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7179311615101890268.post-55876597925113070502007-10-10T08:41:00.000-07:002007-10-10T08:41:00.000-07:00Your not a fan, your a Claymate!
