The orange and yellow vase on the kitchen table would be $60-70 most places, but $250 from a dealer in Manhattan.

I see at least two good works of art, to my eye: the black and white painting in the living room is probably an early Ellsworth Kelly and the primitive portrait of the man in the dining room to the right of the window looks like a Horace Pippin.Rugby E. No. 120 is the best of the very few prewar buildings on East End Avenue, initially planned to become as a second Park Avenue until the Depression halted development for a decade. Although this maisonette lacks exclusive outdoor space, the residents of 120 East End Avenue all enjoy a very beautiful formal private garden. Now please excuse the Rabbi while she digests these very delicious and frightfully fattening real estate calories that you have served up. Fortunately this maisonette sits up high enough off the sidewalk that most looky-loos cannot peer in.

On a trivial note, Bloomberg didn't have a choice not to occupy Gracie Mansion in favor of his townhouse; since there is a covenant on the property, he could not live there with his main squeeze Diana Taylor:

"The house may only be used for official city business.
