Garrett is originally from Woodland Hills (as am I), which is right next door to HH. HH is a gated community with a guard on duty 24/7, so nobody gets in and out without a call to the homeowner to make sure you're expected. It's just like a big building in NYC.

HH is NOT in Los Angeles. It is it's own community, like Beverly Hills, so it's schools are not part of LAUSD, and thus are very good. There is also an excellent private school nearby (that we attended). HH has snob zoning and many of it's residents keep horses and other pet livestock. They have barns, etc. The town has a community swimming pool, too.

It has everything that a person that likes privacy might want, large lots, pretty hilly land, next door to Calabasas and Woodland Hills, so there's plenty of Jewish stuff including Jewish day schools for residents like Garrett. Good restaurants, etc, and decent shopping.

It's spectacularly beautiful and unspoiled. Many of the huge star homes are on teardown property, were the original homes were large ranches.

Yes, it's about as far west as you can get before leaving LA County and heading towards Santa Barbara, but for a family, it's a wonderful place to raise kids in a very safe, secure environment with a lot of community pride.
