End of Week Tidbit: Mish Mash

A one bedroom and 1.5 bathroom ranch-style house on 2.79 acres about 3,000 feet above the desert floor in a semi-remote (and little known) gated enclave about 15 miles south of Palm Springs that was once Walt Disney's party pad hideaway was listed for $535,000. (Hollywood Reporter)

Michael Bay sold his long-time residence in Bel Air for $11.45 million after listing it late last year for $13.5 million. Presumably he's moving to this ultra-sleek mansion he had custom designed on a private promontory, also in Bel Air. (Trulia Luxe Living)

Passionate (and wicked rich) French Canadian singer Celine Dion chopped $10 million off the original $72.5 million asking price of her Bahamas-style compound in Jupiter Island, FL, that's complete with 10,000 square foot main house, half a dozen accessory pavilions, a guest house, pool house, beach house and a goddamn water park. Cuba Gooding, Jr. sold his Pacific Palisades estate for $9.995 million after listing last October (2013) for $11.995 million. (Trulia Luxe Living)
