UPDATE: Lisa Vanderpump

Rumor has it that Beverly Hills restaurateurs Kenneth Todd and Lisa Vanderpump have sold their massive mansion in the high-priced, guard-gated Los Angeles, CA enclave known as Beverly Park. The titanic and lavishly decorated residence has been featured in all its glitzy ogle worthiness on the first two seasons The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the reality program on which Miz Vanderpump works her stuff.

Property records we peeped confirm the Vanderpump Todds did indeed sell their humongous Richard Landry-designed French chateau-style pile in early September (2011) but do not reveal the sale price reported by Radar Online to be $19,000,000. The buyer has yet to be identified and Your Mama has yet to get it figured out.

If the reported sale price is correct–and given that the reporters at Radar spoke directly too Miz Vanderpump, it's probably safe to assume it's very close to if not entirely accurate–then the luxe-living reality tee-vee stars accepted far less than the $29,000,000 asking price. Either the Vanderpump Todds had ants in their real estate pants and wanted out of Beverly Park a.s.a.p. or their opulent abode was priced almost ludicrously higher than the market will currently bear for a fancy mansion in Beverly Park.

Property records reveal Mister Tood and Miz Vanderpump Todd paid $14,000,000 for the hoity-toity house in September 2004. They bought the 2-plus acre estate from art world empress Rosette Delug who happens to be the same well-to-do woman who sold a Hal-Leavitt-designed mansion in Beverly Hills to Jennifer Aniston in 2007 for $13,500,000 that the sitcom/romcom queen in turn renovated and recently unloaded for a teeth chattering $35,000,000.

Anyhoo, Miz Vanderpump told Radar that with her adult children moved out of the house "'it's just too big for Ken and me."' Listing information shows the Beverly Park mansion was built in 1996, measures 15,560 square feet and includes a total of 7 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The Los Angeles Tax Man shows the house is a hair smaller at 15,480 square feet with 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. We don't know why the discrepancies. Either way the house is huge if not exactly epic in scale.

The voluminous entry with curved staircase leads to lavish formal entertaining rooms all done up in a very romantic palette of white, pink, silver and mirror. Less formal spaces include his and her offices, an all-black and very moody mens clubby den/game room, a chef-friendly kitchen, and a wine cellar with dining area.

The grounds, ringed by a very tall precision-clipped hedge, include front and rear motor courts, shaded verandas, planted balconies, parterre gardens dotted with topiary, bright green swathes of lawn criss-crossed by walkways, meandering pathways, a gazebo, numerous fountains and statues, a tennis court and over-sized swimming pool and spa.

The Vanderpump Todd mansion was listed by Beverly Park pooh-bah Mauricio Umansky who just split from Hilton & Hyland to form The Agency with a couple other high-profile real estate agents in Los Angeles who do mad business with famous folks, entertainment industry bigwigs, foreign potentates and international big business barons.

In addition to their new house in Beverly Hills–about which we have no specific intel–the couple also lease a house about 90 miles north in the tony seaside community of Montecito, CA where some of the other high profile property owners include dingbat actress/Hollywood heavyweight Drew Barrymore, media mogul Oprah Winfrey, climate change crusader Al Gore, and former CEO and current executive chairman of Google Eric Schmidt who bought his spectacular George Washington Smith designed estate from Sapphic showbizzers Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi.

Miz Vanderpump–who Camille Grammer so perfectly called Lisa Vanderfancy on the last episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills–went on to say that she and her mister have already selected a new home in Beverly Hills. At 10,000 square feet the new crib is considerably smaller that the old one but is–let's get real people–still enormous by the sizing standards of an average American home. There is down sizing and then there is down sizing, right? Anyways, the Vanderpump Todds paid, according to one of Radar's snitchy sources, around $12,000,000 for the new house.

Your Mama has no specific intel on the new house at this point, so don't bother asking. We'd tell you if we knew. Maybe Miz Vanderpump with pick up her bejeweled mobile phone and give us a ringy dingy on our bespangled and bedraggled princess phone to give us the scoop on the what's what with her now house? Stranger things have happened, perhaps, but we're not going to hold our breath.

I wonder how these two support their lifestyle. Restaurants arent what they used to be, lets face it. Inheritance? Giggy doing private gigs? I heard they owned gay bars in London at one time, which is highly lucrative, but it just doesnt ad up. I would bet your pooches Mama that their Bev Hills neighbors the Maloofs house goes on the market in the near future...Adrienne's family has lost most of their $$$ by published reports I have read, and though facelifts are good money for hubby, not enough to support their lifestyle. And has Camille listed yet Mamma?

Why do I get the feeling the Aniston/Theroux mix bought it? I know that Aniston LOVES BH. I'm not an insider but we all know that JA wants another home. I don't think she really wants to downsize. Anyways if JA/JT did not buy this one than they bought another one or will soon.

Does that yummy Cedric come with the sale???

Good for her! The house was way overpriced... but sold in the ballpark of where it sould, I guess. Maybe still on the high side.

Absolutely gorgeous home, I could see why it sold.
Maurcio made almost a million dollars at bare minimum between the house they sold and the house they bought, not bad for a day's work.

I agree with another Poster, the numbers just don't add for the lavish lifestyles portrayed.
who the heck would want that monster?

it looks very uncomfortable and o matter how rich I could never part with the "high waste lifestyles" it is not peaceful or worry free. you would always have something to remain on top off a full time job over seeing the person you would hire to run the place

Can I be snyde for a moment. First, I adore her Vanderpumpness- she makes the show for me. However, I don't understand the cars being parked out in front of the real estate listing. I mean, we get it... if you can afford a $20MM house you probably can afford a Bentley, a Rolls and a Porsche. Personally, I find it a little tacky. Shouldn't there be a nice big garage where you park your fancy cars? I don't get that in a real estate listing. Now, I've got to take a picture of my Camry out in front of my house (j/k)

"I wonder how these two support their lifestyle. Restaurants arent what they used to be, lets face it."

I'm not sure if they still have bars/clubs/restaurants in London but they had a pretty large portfolio of establishments in the main tourist areas around Piccadilly Circus/Soho I know they sold 4 or 5 in the 90's for $20M or thereabouts ...

"Why do I get the feeling the Aniston/Theroux mix bought it? I know that Aniston LOVES BH"

Uh ... no. This is the opposite of what Aniston goes for & no way in hell would she live in such a monstrosity - she's into modern design which this house is lacking. How do you know she "loves BH"? She lived in a COTTAGE in Malibu for a few years & then her long term home on Blue Jay Way in the Hollywood Hills ... other than her marital home with Brad & the property she just sold she's never really lived in BH. Ostentatious & showy is not what she goes for.

Oh Lord.. that furniture. Whatever floats your boat I guess. I have to applaud the reasonable size of the place relative to other homes in the area, and for having the common sense to downsize.

Gross.
And I can't see Jennifer Anniston living in this joint.

Love Lisa V and love this house. I can imagine her new abode will be fabulous as this one in a different style format! Can't wait for info or pics!

Gosh I love this house

I absolutely love Lisa on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and that includes her not so humble abode. Lisa's house is not everyone's cup of tea, but it screams glamour to me and I, for one, love glamour.

I am very happy she and Ken have unloaded it with a 5 million dollar profit and are staying Beverly Hills.

So far as their money goes, Ken and Lisa owned a portfolio of London nightclubs and bars, some were gay bars others were not, which they sold in 1998 for 10.5 million pounds sterling to the Trocadero Group (Source:http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/music/article-369691-baywatch-babe-turns-club-queen.do). In 2002 they opened Jewel, a venue large enough to accommodate 1,400 guests in Piccadilly Circus in London. I believe they've sold that property as well, substantially feathering their financial nest. Villa Blanca and SUR are simply projects to keep them busy, restaurateurs usually have a hard time getting out of the business because it's one you have to LOVE in order to succeed in.

I love the Vanderpump-Todds...long may they reign and God Save The Queen!

tamara ecclestone wouldnt look at this house because it wasnt grand enough for her. just thought you like to know. She also hated ellen and portias and villa de agnes. She thought that the marciano owned mansion in bh was nice but she wanted to outdo petra. Im hearing rumours that she actually put an offer in on fleur de lys, the estate that petra originally wanted but walked away because of the crazy mz saperstein!!!! any dirt on this mama?

I visited this home when Ms. Delug owned it. And from what i can tell from these pix, the Vanderfancys, sure redid the hell out of the place.

It's WAY over the top compared to its former life as Ms. Delug's domicile...But then again you hardly noticed the decor because you couldn't take your eyes off of Delug's famous art collection.

I had a Vanderpump once. What a mistake! First, it elevated my BP like I had enhaled a whole bottle of poppers. Then, the rash! Oy vey. Talk about embarrassment.

Didn't JA moved/in the process of moving out of LA all together?
I highly doubt she bought it.

Such vulgar "glitter" of silver and white. People with white houses often are fending off dirty thoughts, or so a psychoanalyst once told me. Anyhoo I agree with the person who wonders how running some restaurants can support a life style like this. There must be something else in the background.

According to the Daily Mail, Pitt has let slip more unpleasant comment about Anniston, saying he was bored to death living with her and how jolly it is to be with Jolie. (Just thought you'd want to know.)

As for the wondering where she gets the money from I am fairly sure on the reunion episode of S1 RHOBH she said her and Ken Todd own 29 bars/clubs/restaurants in England and America, I presume it's Sur and Villa Blanca and the rest are in the UK though I think her twitter said she opened a bar next door to Sur recently. They certainly present themselves as if they can support themselves comfortably.

I LOVE this house and the way it's decorated! I know it's over the top, but still...it suits Ms. Vanderpump to a T! She and Ken are the BEST!!! Can't wait to see their new place!!!

I love La Vanderpump on the show, she's a pip and the the best thing about it. But I do believe Camille said, "Vanderfabulous", not fancy. Yes, I am watching too much tv lately, sigh..

It's so not my style, but it's clearly Lisa's, and on the show it seemed a happy home, very much her own. I'd love it if the buyer was Jackie Collins- it's move-in ready for her, a few leopard rugs and throws, she'd be good to go! :)

I'm sure this house will make some Persian family (and their 87 relatives) very happy.

My guess is this is the new house....

Chanruss Pl is not grand enough for Vanderpump. Looks like a little ranch from the approach. She needs bigger and grander.

Vanderpumper doesn't buy on the open market. Biotch picked up a new house far closer to home than ya'll are thinking. You will soon see.

I agree with Anon 2:54 PM regarding the cars. It looks like they pulled up to the 7-11.

Make that paper, Mauricio!

I am in love with the exterior and the grounds of this house. The backyard (do the wealthy say "backyard"? Seems so pedestrian... there must be some other term for their fabulous back outside area) is absolutely spectacular.

The interiors? Not so much. Totally not my style. Definitely Lisa's style however, and I do love her, but I prefer the interiors of the Maloof-Nassif residence across the street (if I had to choose between the two - but really I prefer Camille's Malibu compound over any of the homes featured on the show).

Vanderpump purchased an amazing contemporary architectural estate at 9550 Oak Pass Road.

GORGEOUS new house on Oak Pass Road.

So she stays in the same neighbourhood, lives in an architecturally superior house and pockets $9 million.

Lisa Vanderpump is a serious winner.

I think Beverly Park is so gawdy and over done and blown.
Vanderpump managed to buy something down the road from BP.
Also, I can't see Jen Anniston buying in BP. Not after she had that beautiful (she sold) above Sunset.
Give me Hancock Park (next to Matt Bomer would be just fine!) or something in old section of Beverly Hills.

Vanderfabulous NOT Vanderfancy

Lisa is worth approx $70 Million. She has more than enough to support her lifestyle. lol.
