NEWSFLASH...

...Nausea and fever aside, Your Mama, needed to get up from our sick bed to bring the children some breaking celebrity real estate gossip. We hear that Paris "Pokey" Hilton will soon be putting her Hollywood Hills house on the market.

So for those 12 girls who consider Pokey a role model, now is the time to get your parents to cough up a few million to buy one of the most infamous houses in all of Los Angeles.

Now, Your Mama is going back to bed to rest up and read the piles and piles of gossip rags, catch up on back issues of The New Yorker and finish up the stunning novel we're reading by Kathryn Harrison.

More soon.

Thanks for that very interesting bit of developing news Mama. Color me not suprised. I swear it crossed my mind that if Paris was really serious about turning over a new leaf (and I think she is), she'd want to unload that paparazzi mecca and find something more private and secluded. I'm convinced she's over her wild child days.. time will tell.

I would buy it, you know what, I am going to buy it. It's a pretty nice place.

She paid a drop over $1.3 Million for it so she stands to make a substantial profit, she'll probably list for somewhere between $3.25M - $3.95M

I think she paid more than that - she completely gutted the interior. Anyway, back at the start of the year she was looking at new homes ... long before her prison saga ... she looked at a pad on cole place, just off carla ridge in beverly hills a couple of times - 2 houses down from matthew perrys property [yes, i know he lives in sierra towers but has a house also] ... & she was reportedly wanting to move out to malibu - perhaps she'll rent the new beach house after the summer season has ended?

Anon @ 6:42 PM.. apparently to Bev Hills:

Paris to sell Hollywood home

http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/4116711a1860.html

Excerpts:

Paris Hilton is selling her Hollywood Hills home in a bid to lead a quieter life.

The hotel heiress.. is reportedly planning to leave Hollywood to escape the wild party scene.

Paris is keen to prove she is serious about distancing herself from her old life and is set to move to Beverly Hills.

Paris.. has asked her father Rick to find her a suitable property.

Oh, goody. If I'm lucky Pokey will move next to me (again) and bring her lunatic fans and assorted and inconsiderate stalking paparazzi with her...

Oh, lucky me.

Time to break out the "PLEASE GET OFF MY WALL! Paris Lives Here ---->" sign again.

It never ends.

According to public records she did pay a little over $1.3M but other sources have reported just a tad south of $3M. I hope she does move to a quieter place and is able to turn herself around and get on with her life. Also, I read that her neighbors wanted her thrown out of the neighborhood, that is completely rude. It's not her fault the paparazzi are constantly bothering her, instead of kicking her out of the neighborhood they should be telling the city of Los Angeles to do something about it like requiring paparazzi to be licensed like all other reporters and setting limitations between what is stalking and what isn't. It's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt and it may not be a celebrity, it may just be a regular person caught in the crossfire. Paparazzi run around Los Angeles like guerrilla warfare, it's absolutely ridiculous.

Well said, Anon @ 10:49 AM. Paparazzi invading residential neighborhoods to the extent that they disrupt the lives of those residents cannot be argued as their 'equal right' of freedom. What about homeowner's rights to live in safety and peace, which they are paying through the nose for by the way.

I never said it was their equal right to freedom, I don't think they should be allowed to be in front of her house all day. All I'm saying is that they (the neighbors) shouldn't blame Paris, she didn't invite them there.
